The
kitchen of the pub was once the country kitchen of the
house. It is lit up with a welcoming turf fire which
is always burning. Many a dinner was cooked over it - but
now you can only enjoy the smell of the burning turf. The ceiling
and walls are a museum of antiques and photos of local
people, well known musicians and old characters that often
